If Giuliani can get through primaries, he stacks up well For a guy commonly regarded as a hero after 9/11, Mayor Giuliani is too quickly dismissed by presidential handicappers. Here's why he deserves a second look.

Rudy is slightly better than Hillary/Obama. The difference is so slight that it is easy for me to vow never to vote for him.
If you list out Rudy and Hillarys positions on key issues it is difficult to tell which one is not the republican.

Giuliani is my third choice, yet I find myself defending him because in a pinch he might be the right guy for the times. You have stated this several times on this thread and I think you are lying. I think Rudy is your first choice and you are merely saying this to try to make anyone who dislikes Rudy for President as some kind of lunatic. Rudy is NOT a conservative, the WOT is NOT the most important issue, the illegal alien problem is the most important issue and Rudy will support illegals coming across in droves which means terrorist and other undesirables will come swarming across also, just the way they do now. We are on the verge of losing our soveriegnty forever and you Rudybots think electing someone who will help bring it about is a great idea.
Oh, yes, anyone who thinks that Reagan Republicans will support Rudy better look again. There is no way Rudy is another RR.

That's a pretty weak argument.
Congresscritters miss votes all the time for various reasons.
If you have proof that Hunter missed this vote intentionally, or that his vote would have saved Terri's life bring it forward.
If not than you are pathetic for bringing this up.

I confess it's a tossup between Giuliani and Romney for VP. Newt is my certain choice for POTUS.
And, no, I don't think you're a lunatic. Really.

Would you then agree it's as relevant as anyone bringing up Giuliani dressing in drag for a charity event? Unless one's point is proving he has a sense of humor.

The reason I site the FR poll is because, people at FR tend to be better informed, more active and more likely to contribute financially then the average 'likely to vote' crowd.
Your ability to show one poll that obviously looks sad after the general election is a non-starter in that at this point many of us at FR are wanting a Conservative to win the nomination.
Fortunately few liberals, and only some moderates vote in the GOP primaries. And with a good grassroots campaign and big mo on his side Hunter has an excellent chance against Rudy McRomney.

I will vote for whatever candidate has the best chance to beat the dem. As a conservative the safety and security of my country comes first and foremost in these uncertain times. If at primary time Rudy is the most likely he gets my vote. Any of ours is certainly superior to anything the democrat party will produce.

That is not a war, and killing terrorists is far more important.

Well I don't think the entire forum ....pro and anti Rudy would mind you leaving since you add nothing to the discussion cept...
