"Yes, I'm a Jew, and i know that figures large in some peoples thinking. I won't both responding to the rest."

There's no bigger supporter of Israel than I am.

My point is that you are a one issue poster. But you took time out from your ax grinding to bash Coulter -- over a joke.

One wonders why.

But run away, and claim victim-hood and anti-Semitism because I called you out on backstabbing a great conservative and supporter of Israel.

It doesn't surprise me at all.

Trust me, none of that $100,000 would otherwise go to a republican candidate.

Yeah, she should have probably just referred to breck boy as a metrosexual, or sensitive, macaroni, or mincing effete fop.

So much for speaking truth to power.

The Maher story will have legs by Monday. He will be gone by the end of the week.

"The Maher story will have legs by Monday. He will be gone by the end of the week."

Maybe you are joking.

At the moment Google news lists one (1) story about what Maher said -- from Newsbusters:

http://tinyurl.com/2mpdtd

That's it.

The media have their priorities.

And it is appalling to see so many here so eager to help them.

Ladies and gentlemen,

We need to remember who really raised this ruckus - it WASN'T John Edwards, it was Howard Dean. The same Howard Dean who is on record (and gets a pass from the MSM) for saying that Republicans are "lazy, corrupt, fat, greedy, never worked a day in their lives, . . . . . . "

And, before we throw Ann to the MSM (whose only goal is to silence her for the Dems), we have to remember some of the other things that Dems have said about Republicans; things like Cynthia McKinney claiming that Bush knew about 9/11 ahead of time and did nothing to prevent the deaths of Americans on that day nor the collapse of the towers. She said this on the floor of the House of Representatives and it was recorded in the Congressional Record.

Next year, no one will remember (or care) what Ann Coulter said at CPAC, but 3 generations from now, future historians will be able to research the Congressional Record and find Cynthia McKinney's comments.

Before we let the Dems and the MSM convince us to consume one of our own over their phoney outrage, let's be sure that we put this in perspective. Ann has taken many attacks, both personal and public, for her "in-your-face" stance with the Democrats. She is one of the true voices of Republican values who will fight back against the Democrats. We often complain about the linguini-spined Republicans in office and dreamily wish for a strong super-hero who will fight back with the same tactics that the Dems use but, when we get one (Ann Coulter) we are willing to toss her to the wolves.

Divide and conquer is a tactic that dictators, socialists and Democrats use VERY effectively. The amount of invective I have seen thrown at Ann Coulter over this issue is proof of it. If we want a strong voice, we have one. If we don't, then let's drop the pretenses and bow down to our new masters, Hillary, Obama and the MSM.

We can't have it both ways.

The real story is how this guy thinks he can be President. I don't think the word Coulter used was correct, I think she should have called him "psychotic."

I say we all donate 1 penny to the cause. Surely it cost more than a penny to process the charge.

Excellent post.

If the media win on this one (and to a great extent they already have), we are just another step further to being completely cowed.

And we wonder why the conservatives we elect and send to Washington change? They are scared to death of the media.

They know that all the media has to do is misrepresent a joke or take a line out of context and their lives are ruined.

God knows nobody on the conservative side will come to their defense. They will be at the head of the line for firing squad volunteers.

Well, it really doesn't matter if she called him a "faggot" or not. I sincerely believe that Ann could whip his sorry behind and I'd pay good money to witness that event. He'd probably cry like a whipped puppy and I'll bet that there'd be a big wet spot in front of his pants, and a real bonus would be a big brown spot in the back.

I just wanted to let all of you know what an Edwards fan I am.

Kerry-Edwards: The ambiguously 'gay' duo
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=39363

July 9, 2004

"...Just this week, the National Stonewall Democrats – a group that advocates on behalf of those who practice homosexuality – pronounced Kerry-Edwards as the "most pro-gay ticket in the history of presidential politics." The Human Rights Campaign – Washington's largest homosexual lobbying group – gave the two men a 100 percent rating on their voting records on issues of advancing homosexual issues, life and marriage. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force referred to them as the most "gay-supportive" pairing in history. ..."
