Another brilliant post Bah!
Trouble is unless the fire is at 1500 degrees under their butts they won't bother. Once again that's why we are here. We get stuck doing their jobs for them. And after we do we then have to begin gathering kindling for the fire.
LOL Just trying to make it easier for you to give her compliments.
LOL
Some o' those butts have a lil extra padding.
shhh, here comes the Senior Senator of Massachusetts.
(I don't feel well all of a sudden)
Priceless I just love that entire series of spots.
He's against the war. He's toast.
Blowtorch time
I have a problem with the holier-than-thou Wash Post who investigated the problem almost a year ago, but did not expose the problem for so long. Why didn't they care enough to get help right away?

I think it took Dana Priest a long time to find enough unhappy service members and family members willing to talk to her. Some of her comments on Howie Kurtz's show today were really weird.
Apparently she is upset because of a lack of 'trust' between her and whichever Army General she spoke to before the publication of Part I of her story.
Can you believe it?! A reporter claiming that "trust" exists between the Pentagon and the Press.
Here is the transcript link:
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0703/04/rs.01.html
KURTZ: Dana Priest, in the six days that you gave Army public relations officials a chance to respond before publication, they decided to call a briefing in which other Pentagon reporters from other news organizations were invited in to talk about this before your article ran.
How did that make you feel?
PRIEST: It made me feel that the Army has really forgotten all the lessons they learned about its relationship with the press, because, actually, they -- there was a time when they understood what this was all about. They broke in that case a cardinal rule of operating with us, which is trust.
If I'm going to give them time, I trust that they're not going to go tell Jamie about the story. And that's always been the way that it's been played.
The general in charge, General Weightman, he's the one that told me that they were going to preempt us, and he did it in a sheepish manner, because I think he thought this was not, you know, necessarily the best idea. And in fact, I do think it backfired on them.
^^^^^
:
LOL
I wasn't the only one who had that idea
Woo
I think we will need one with industrial strength
At the very least.
Yikes, who would be able to lift it?
He started talking with a drawl when he campaigned in Maryland - for the whitebread Dem, against a true conservative AfricanAmerican.
Obama knew his black half of his heritage for 2 years, after which he was raised by his white mother, an Indonesian stepfather, and white grandparents. He is middle-middle-class American. Period!
How many of us are formed by our experiences that occur before we are two years old???
I happened to watch this movie last night. Chris Rock, as a last minute replacement for presidential candidate, made as much or more sense than Obama does.
Head of State (2003)
Directed by Chris Rock
Writing credits Chris Rock & Ali LeRoi
Starring Chris Rock
Yeppers....
I am just envisioning something like Watergate or Iran/Contra....just endless hearings, finger pointing.
My goodness, Prs. Bush has had the 9/11 Commission, even STILL..and the Katrina Commission...and the ISG...
I may have forgotten a commission..
It's just like the illegal immigrant problem...Pres. Bush is blamed for all what 20 million that are supposedly here???
Like they came in the 80's and got amnesty...and then stopped coming through the rest of Reagan's presidency..and through Clinton's???
sheesh
It is a little scary flying into the Airport, it looks like you will hit the Water, but the view of all the monuments takes your breath away. I wish they would clean up DC once and for all so that I would feel comfortable revisiting History again. Congress one day will do it's job and make it the cleanest City in America. Not in my Lifetime though, no way. There is nothing like walking down or up the Washington Monument, looking up a Lincoln at his Memorial, The Ellipse, Georgetown. It is all just so fantastic and every where you look is a History Lesson.
