Fred Sanford once told Aunt Esther that he could stick her face in some dough and make some gorilla cookies. His comment would apply to Candy Crowley.

When you say a pudding mix do you mean something like an instant whip mix.

Wallace comes on WABC radio once a week to discuss his upcoming show. When asked a question about a particular current event, he always says he knows nothing about it, he'll have to ask his staff. My guess is that someone else does his show prep. Prepares the questions and he is not informed enough or intelligent enough to process the answer from the guest to enable him to ask a followup question.

Thanks for posting that link...

I just read the article...it was wonderful.

HISTORY, true history is missing in all of our conversations and debates.

And the perspective of the former PM of Singapore is one that we should heed....because some day..there will be those that will praise the US and Pres. Bush for his view to the future.

Right, our puddings are usually not baked or steamed. If cooked, it's with scalded milk and corn starch to thicken.

Although these days, there are mixes that are no cook and take only 5 minutes.

Rum in apple strudel wow never thought of that either sounds great though. I also like a sultana fruit cake.

Not only is the future bleak for the children involved but they often turn to lives of crime because they have no hope for a better future. All society suffers.

Every now and then I catch some of her show and I wonder why anyone listens. I don't think she has core beliefs....or doesn't think things trough.

At this point it is clear that Crowley's weight is a serious health issue.

Sounds like our instant whip you just add milk and and beat and they thicken and you set them in the fridge for a few minutes and serve with cream or chocolate or whatever sprinkled on top.

We get them in strawberry, raspberry, banana, butterscotch, chocolate and coffee flavour.

The one made with cornstarch you describe sounds like our old fashioned blancmange

Absolutely so sad and as I said it is the only part of our society that is growing with about 4 - 6 kids per family whereas the most other families have is 3 and mainly only 2.

A worrying statistic.

Instant whip would be right, though, I think.

I like to bake from scratch, but I can understand when my friends have little time available to do that.

My favorite cake is my grandmother's rum almond ring. I will bake it for my birthday and take it into work (when no one will know why LOL). Butter, ground almonds, rum, what's not to love?

LOL

sigh...sigh...sigh.

Joshus generation...
