They hate where they are, but enjoy the benefits of being there. What the heck are the great big benefits of being here? You all act like FreeRepublic is some union whose endorsement of a candidate is going to make some big difference in the 2008 race. I think some here have delusions of grandeur. This is a site where we talk about politics. I didn't sign anything that said I had to think a certain way when my donations were accepted. Again, if that has changed, I wish to be notified.

Hildy, no you don't have to think a certain way, just post a certain way. ;-)

The majority of FR is now hysterical over the most popular GOP candidate in ages. Someone who actually implements conservative values. A guy who could give a rats @ss about K street.
The only candidate who can bury the Clintons once and for all.
Yet he is hated more then the Clintons. Bizarre to say the least.

I don't hate where I am on FR, I love it and always have! And, I completely agree with your point of view, about participating on a chat board designed to discuss topics and exchange ideas, not march in lockstep with each other --or else.
To: Hildy
You nailed it. Where is it stated that Republicans or conservatives agreed to march in lockstep around here? .
