I wouldn't care if the entire field of candidates showed up in dresses at an event. It's for fun, laughing at themselves, doing something light-hearted. If they debated in them I might have second thoughts!
So I'm guessing the Free Republic production of "Charley's Aunt" is pretty much out of the question.
