Ann is not an elected official. Therefore, her comments or perceived controversial remarks shouldn't be taken seriously. She does not work in any field of government and is not a representative of the people.

"Get it? If it is said often enough then it becomes truth."
Thank you. That was exactly the point I was trying to make in my first post....until the PC nannies came out in force. They really need to figure out what side they are really on. They might be happier on DU.

Well, it made ME feel good she said it.....I think people don't understand what she's trying to do. I don't think she is trying to influence the fence sitters, I think she is trying to splash cold water on the Liberals. Making that poor guy enter rehab for saying faggot is ridiculous and should be ridiculed. That is what Ann Coulter did.
And I also agree with her comments on those four witches of New Brunswick. Maybe the Democrats will be less likely to push people into rehab for non PC speech and, also, not send out sob story type people in order to push their odious political agenda.
If these sleazy tactics are slowed up somewhat, we have Ann Coulter to thank for this!

"Are you seriously going to deny that these ill-timed remarks are going to be used against Republicans and will add some life to John Edwards campaign?"
IF it adds some life to John Edwards campaign it will detract from Obama and Hillary. Wheres the downside?

Look--go to post 95 to see who brought up the issue of "free speech." It wasn't me. Ahem...

As I said in an earlier post, if Edwards drops out, that may encourage Gore to drop in. His presence will tear the Democrats to pieces.

I agree. I'll defend her too. Her 'bomb throwing', biting satire,,,yes BITING SATIRE,,,,is no different than what comedians like Don Rickles used to say every day as part of their 'schtick'.
She flaunts her 'biting humor' in this day of pathetic political correctness. She is a 'pundit'--not a politician--so if her comments offend those who worship at the 'altar of political correctness',,,so be it.

"Yes. Democrats say things that are far worse and nobody seems to care. My first rule - no double standards."
I don't believe thats realistic. People should have integrity and respect for other people. Being a pushover gets no respect.

I'm tired of the 2008 election already. I'm going to tune out until it matters. Election fatigue.Hugh gigantor bump to that!
Told my wife I refuse to read any Giuliani, Hunter, Romney, McCain etc posts today unless there's some bimbshell news. It's my day of rest from the too early overload of bull$hit campaign screeching.

Don't you get it. Homosexuals are the High Priests of Liberalism. So we should bow down too, soas not to offend Libserals. Guess Ann proved her point better than she had hoped.

Outstanding point! All of a sudden, life is sucked out of the campaigns of Osama and the Shrew. Edwards gets a little sympathy and a little more campaign money! It almost sounds Rovian!

It's WHERE SHE MADE THE COMMENT! AT CPAC!IMO, you're the one missing the point. Libs have called Bush and his administration far worse things IN THE HALLS OF CONGRESS!!! Their treasonous comments are recorded in no less that the Congressional Record for future generations to read.
This time next year, only the outraged leftist MSM will remember or give a rat's patootie about Ann's comment. But, by the same token, three generations hence, future historians can read Cynthia McKinney's allegations in the Congressional Record that Bush knew about the 911 attacks and did nothing to prevent them.

Who was at CPAC yesterday??? Duncan Hunter who made a GREAT speech, Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney who also gave good speeches. And many other excellent conservative speakers and panelists. And here comes Ann Coulter, overshadowing everything with her unhinged comment about john edwards. Anyway, what else can I say. If conservatives can't recognize that where she decided to say a comment like this wasn't total lunacy...

YOU worry about yourself. I guess you support Gore.

This is horrible, right when we are trying to attract more perverts and homos to vote for Rudy:)
Doesn't she know we can't possibly win with our family values?

Right now!
We seem to have a lot of effeminate men in the party who, for whatever ignorant reason, lover to rail against Ann...Maybe they really support the "dynamic duo"...
If the faggot title fits, stick it on. What did you expect from a couple of "John's" that the local "working girls" refused to have anything to do with?

Looks like PC is alive and well at the CPAC. Thanks, AC, for bringing it out.

They are all Faggots. I like Ann. I don't like Edwards, MSM, or liberals. Therefore I am with Ann. It's not that hard.
All liberals are Faggots. All conservatives that defend liberals are Faggots. Girly-men, Faggots ...same thing.
Get a grip. They call her much worse. At least she hasn't thrown any pies at them.
PC will be the end of us. Besides, I thought being a faggot was a good thing. At least that's what they tell us.
