Would this mean we woudn't be allowed to see
Law and Order episodes in which Fred Thompson appears? Back before Ronald Reagan was reelected, old Ronald Reagan movies were not shown on TV.

I'm with ya' DFU.
I've been worried about our line-up of contenders so far and many of them have been 'hold your nose and vote Republican' types that are flawed in one way or another, or are so unknown that there's no way they could win.
Now I am optimistic about the 2008 election.

Giuliani has lost valuable campaign papers, which might compromise a promising candidacy. What? Perhaps the most stupid comment I've read in ages. I can think of several things which might Compromise Rudy's candidacy, but losing some papers ain't one of them.

I actually find Mr. Thompson to be a respectably good actor, as well. I've enjoyed most of the roles I've seen him in. I was almost glad he want back to acting, but I'd certainly like to see him as President as well.

They talked about this on the Fox News "panel" tonight and none of the three "Krauthamer, Kondrake, Barnes) thought he would actually run or that he would be a particularly good POTUS.
