CAMP TAJI, Iraq, March. 2, 2007 Multi-National Division - Baghdad soldiers assisted in the medical evacuation of a two-year-old Iraqi girl March 1 after she fell from a truck near the city of Mushada, Iraq.
Troopers from Company B, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment were on a patrol when they came upon a wounded child and her father, who told the soldiers his daughter had fallen from the vehicle.
The soldiers immediately called for an urgent medical evacuation. Shortly afterward, the girl and her father were airlifted to the 28th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad, where the girl underwent surgical procedures.
From the time the soldiers found the child to the time she arrived at the 28th Combat Support Hospital, took place in a span of just 45 minutes.
At this time, the condition of the child is unknown.
I wonder what DUSTOFF unit supplied the chopper????
I love seeing your threads....good news, heartwarming news...news about our wonderful troops.
I have seen so much of politicians lately....and the way the "USE" our troops...both in a negative way...and to further their careers...
I am sick to death of them all.
I hope she is fine...I bet she will be alright with our medics taking care of her.
Thanks, SandRat

There are so many of these stories and sadly Americans aren't given the chance to hear about them from the MSM. And I think nearly all Americans would be happy to hear/read stories like this one.
