I would be VERY VERY happy with this guy. Me too! As I posted over in "that" thread I am undecided voter. But that was before this news! I feel better about this country already.
To: Howlin
Where did i say I am not for him? You suck when it comes to putting words in other peoples mouths. That's sleazy, but certainly not out of character for you.
I like what i see from what I see in your link in post 70. Thank you for posting it.

I'd like to hear more from him on Illegal Immigration.
But even if he doesn't melt my butter with that, I'd vote for him over RUDY.

I'll see your Rudy - Fred and raise you a Fred-Rudy ticket! ;PIf that were to happen, I'd throw him out the window with the bath water. I'll have no hand in voting for rudy.

Indeed and I am gratified he has issues with Fred. Do NOT want his support at all.

I'm pretty sure he isn't too conservative.I am not familiar with the term "too conservative". Maybe people who are too conservative are like UFO's...you hear reports about them but never see them.
He seems like a regular conservative to me and that's just fine.

He was a SENATOR. As I said, I distinctly remember voting for him.
And the only thing a Senator administers is his own office, and/or his own campaign.
He's never been a governor. He's never been a mayor of a large (or even a small) city. He's never run a company.
Zero administrative experience.

OK, I've been one of the vocal Rudy supporters here but I have to say, Fred Thompson gets my vote.
Actually, I don't think a Thompson/Giuliani or Giuliani/Thompson ticket could lose against the Hildabeast.

"s he qualified? Senators are not executives and the Presidency is executive on steroids. He had two senate terms and is a lawyer...but all this means is that he's a bloviator, reviewer, ANALyser. Presidents must be creative, decisive, and lead."
Don't mention that to any of the Duncan Hunter worshipers. They'll unload on you with both barrels.
To: Tribemike
Seems knowledgeable on policy, and with his acting career, should be good on camera, which is very important today. Inside knowledge of Senate, friends on both sides of aisle.
I'll have to hear more, but I like the sound of it.
