Giuliani said that he understands that we will have some differences, but told people to beware making your 80% ally a 20% enemy

Well, in fairness, some more-conservative FReepers may quibble with that breakdown, as applied to Rudy. Even I would, and I like the guy. (I just think that my disagreement with him on immigration, Gore-bal warming, guns and abortion adds up to something more than 20%, if not more than 50%, of the whole pie.)

I have issues with those beliefs, as well.... I haven't seen this or prior Presidents do anything about abortion and don't think we'll see anything change until a State case gets to the SCOTUS and to get past there we need at least one more constructionist justice (which Rudy believes in);

I don't think our guns are going anywhere;

I think global warming is all hype because climates warm and cool since beginning of time;

the borders are a huge issue with me, but I think by the time Rudy is elected we will have already lost that battle.

My gutt feeling is he is the best man for the job in these troubled times. If we elect a Hillary or Obama and we are attacked by BinLaden again, the items people are concerned over will be the least of our problems.
