It appeared to me that Hunter was put in a very disadvantageous position in having to appear first and early before the full crowd was there or awake. His speech was not too good but I don't think he should be judged on just it. He did say some good things. But I don't think it a fair representation of his ability.
Of course, I also do not believe he can compare with Rudy in that regard in any case. His speech was excellent and I had the feeling that the crowd could have listened as long as wished to talk. Great storytellers and communicators have that ability. That doesn't mean they will vote for him either.
There really was NO comparison in the presentations. Or doubt who is going to be the nominee. That was just made clearer.
