I'm confused. (I didn't watch the speech).
You say he "flipped 3 pages of notes". I thought Peach said he spoke from memory and had no notes? From what I recall, when he first started he flipped pages a couple of times... from there it appeared to be from memory as he never looked down at the podium again.

Peach, you were probably just so busy typing away you didn't see them. He did have notes and several times put his reading glasses back on to check them.
He didn't read from the notes by any stretch. He just used them as a reminder of which point to make next.
