All day today we are covering speakers and panels at the 34th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC. This morning, we'll hear from Republican presidential hopeful former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. He will be followed by Reps. Scott Garrett (NJ), Tom Tancredo (CO), and others.

Who'd want that kind of headache? It's much easier to tell the press secretary what to say.
I'm not worried about any such thing........
From lurking on these threads I get the distinct impression I will get far more information regarding my concerns from the Guilani supporters than from his opponents.......and with much less stridency.
Once again, our resident lecturer on "character" takes time out from posting about Giuliani supporters having their white robes at the cleaners to throw more pearls of wisdom to the swine.
Hmmm ... now I've seen everything. Promoting conservative positions on a thread on a conservative website is trolling. And the troll has a '97 signup date. He's a ten-year troll! And never has been found out in all that time!
I am not whining, EV.
People can make up their own minds (I know you hate that!) about who is whining here.
Your obsessive needs to refute each and every word on these threads and your psychopathic need to delineate who is and who isn't a "good" conservative says much about your own self-esteem.
I rest my case.
Whatever.
Your characterisations of Rudy are, shall we say, a bit of an exaggeration. If they were true the media in NY would have loved the guy instead of HATING him.
Wow. He's talented! ;-)
LOL!
I've heard that's the one to hit. We looked at going to St. John last year for New Years but ended up just going to Key West instead (a little easier itinerary and I could use HHonor points).
I'm no expert though by any stretch. I just know how much we enjoyed it. We'd like to go back to St. Barts, but that's waaaay out of our price range.
So, in your learned opinion, who exactly are the wingnuts in this place?
Are they the ones supporting a candidate during the primary process, with the idea that they will ultimately support whichever candidate wins the GOP's nomination in order to defeat the Democrats.
Or are the wingnuts the ones saying that if the candidate of their choice fails to win the GOP's nomination, the will take action (vote third party) or fail to take action (stay home and not vote) and by doing so facilitate a victory for the DNC candidate?
LOL! That's gonna leave a mark...
That falsehood is an unsuccessful attempt to change the subject.
Politics is intimately connected with compromise. Without compromise war and violence is the sure result.
Like a tactical retreat is sometimes necessary in order to win wars so political principles will be compromised for a tactical advantage with a view of making the overall strategy successful.
Well, my niece, the princess, did manage to pick President's Week, a holiday NOT celebrated nor widely know in the South, second only in price to Christmas.
But the tickets I orginally paid $800 dropped like a rock to $350 and the condo was $427 a night, and I've certainly paid close to that state side.
If you do HH, you have to to go the Sandestin Hilton. Swell. Just wonderful. My husband's band plays down there sometimes!
I don't think our guns are going anywhere;
I think global warming is all hype because climates warm and cool since beginning of time;
the borders are a huge issue with me, but I think by the time Rudy is elected we will have already lost that battle.
My gutt feeling is he is the best man for the job in these troubled times. If we elect a Hillary or Obama and we are attacked by BinLaden again, the items people are concerned over will be the least of our problems.
Male intuition?
So you've seen it before?
And that about sums up your contributions on this and several other threads I've read in regard to Guiliani.
As I said in a previous post, I haven't decided if I will support Guiliani in the primaries yet, but nothing you have posted has given me a good reason to NOT support him.......Hmmmmmmmmm
