There is nothing wrong with a spirited primary; but at the end of it, all the candidates need to be in a position to walk back and support the winner. This is the Republican Party we're speaking of - the MSM will exploit any perceived divisions or lapses in discipline.
This means an underlying level of civility is required. I believe the candidates are more possessed of it in the treatment of each other, than the rival groups are on this corner of the internet. Hopefully this will change, because Republicans and conservatives will have to unite against the foe congealing in the sewage vats of the Democrat Party.
Regards, Ivan
What are you babbling about?
Gee, maybe because Rudy goes against such a large swath of the GOP platform?
And they're not females either, which makes it all the more hilarious and pathetic.
It wasn't Rudy who was booed stupid. They were booing what he said about the Democrats and their French ways. Boy you really aren't listening are you.
Alas, I have never *mastered* the trait of self-restraint.
These people get more bizarre by the day.
It really does --- and it kills me to watch this happening.
You just made me burst out laughing! That was a zinger!
Rudy is a star, and the dems will nominate a star. You don't beat a 'somebody' with a 'nobody.' As of now, Rudy is a 'somebody.'
Well, there you go.
I think the owners, and a lot of the conservatives, think that there is a lot of distraction here lately and a little purging of the riff-raff might make this a more focused and useful forum.
That's documented - several posters keep saying they have really scurrilous stuff about Hunter but refuse to post the links.
Or say Hunter is sees contraception as abortion - but it turns out he was opposed to the morning-after-type pills.
That kind of crap.
Oh, you're right. The biggest whiners are nearly all MEN. ROFL
So now you have a difficult time coping with what you wrote.
And to be clear, I think extreme liberalism is not a coherent political philosophy, but rather a mental disorder. I think the same of extreme conservatism. Props to Dr Savage!
You are accusing one of the people who works on the Freepathon of selling out FR?
Can you link me to ANY post you've ever made on a Freepathon thread?
If you are so concerned about the tone on FR, I would suggest you work reign in YOUR buddies that have being doing that kind of garbage.
Frankly, considering your posts on this forum for the last couple of months, I'm surprised God doesn't strike you dead for the sheer hypocrisy of those words.
It took about two minutes from some morally smug type to come along and tell me that my sister had lived long enough and she didn't need those embyonic stem cells.
She didn't bother waiting for me to clarify that they were HER stem cells, but she was FINE with my sister dying.
Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. The haters don't care one whit about freedom - they just want to control and to spew their hatred. I'm sure you considered the source and let that ugly comment go.
That was stunning and I am not about to forget about it. Ever.
"You are such a pathetic boy child.
All you wish to do is cause trouble here.
GROW THE HELL UP!"
Then you say:
"I do not enjoy coming to FR in the morning like I used to. It's become hostile and repetitious. It's really past time for a call to civility."
I'm just saying...
You're argument consists of a Quote -- without context -- from the radical Left's hysterical rantings against Giuliani. If he pisses of the Left so damned much, maybe he DOES belong at CPAC!

The defence and denial of liberal policies must be tiring.
