Reading Hillary Rodham's hidden thesis
MSNBC ^ | 3-2-2007 | Bill Dedman

Posted on 03/02/2007 7:37:28 AM PST by AliVeritas

WELLESLEY, Mass. — The senior thesis of Hillary D. Rodham, Wellesley College class of 1969, has been speculated about, spun, analyzed, debated, criticized and defended. But rarely has it been read, because for the eight years of Bill Clinton’s presidency it was locked away.

As forbidden fruit, the writings of a 21-year-old college senior, examining the tactics of radical community organizer Saul D. Alinsky, have gained mythic status among her critics — a “Rosetta Stone,” in the words of one, that would allow readers to decode the thinking of the former first lady and 2008 presidential candidate.

Despite the fervent interest in the thesis, few realize that it is no longer kept under lock and key. As MSNBC.com found, it is available to anyone who visits the archive room of the prestigious women’s college outside Boston. With Clinton’s opponents in the 2008 presidential race looking for the next “Swift Boat” attack ad, and the senator herself trying to cast off her liberal image, Clinton's 92-page thesis is certain to be read and reread by opposition researchers and reporters visiting the campus.

Yes, I'm sure it has something to do with socialism and communism. However, she doesn't hide her penchant for socialism now, so it must be even more embarrassing than her current image.

From the article:
"Readers can copy only a few pages."
It's 92 pages long, so it would take a lot of visits to copy the whole thing, but I'm sure that someone, or some group will do that soon.

Someone needs to put together a group of "readers" and have each of them copy consecutive pages......

Well. What is there to guess about her? She is a dedicated Marxist and Socialist, went to Wellesley college in the late Sixties, which was a fever swamp of not just feminism, but man-hating feminism. She was hanging out with the best of them.

Leopards do not change their spots, just as Hillary does not change her pantsuit.

She spent her time networking with people sure to be influential in the future, learning how to apply for grants and enhancing her resume.

You hit the nail on the head in your post. The truly frightening thing about Hillary is that virtually everything thing she has done since her youth (I am guessing here at the age, say 18-21), as been coldly calculated to position herself to be the first female President. These calculations include:

Marrying a man whom she knew at the time was a philanderer.

Allowing a marriage to be based on a Power-Partnership and not love

Changing her name for political reason, not principle

Staying in such a marriage even after it was exposed for the sham that it is

Having a child more for expediency and appearances, then for nurturing.

Selecting the state to run for office in based on visibility and win-ability

I understand that Daniel Moynahan could not stand Hillary, he is one liberal Democrat that I did respect. You knew where he was coming from, he backed his beliefs with well thought out logic, and one could discuss issues with him, even with disagreements, w/o animosity. He was also a good judge of character or should I say, the lack there of.

"I will take those oil profits...",

When I heard hillary said that statement I wasn't surprise that she thought that way but surprised that she would say it for all to hear. Much like her words regarding the cleaning woman, she now she's her as 'human'.

Good points and confirms that she is an avowed socialist.

But if you take someone who acts like a Marxist in order to reap the benefits of using Marxist rhetoric and theory(even if they don't believe it or think it applies to themselves)how are they different from any other self-professed Marxist?

Even the self-professed ones act quite differently when they gain power.

I agree that she thinks she knows better how I should live my life than I do... remember Bill telling a crowd that the government shouldn't give back tax money to taxpayers because "you wouldn't know what to do with it"? I remember reading that she chided Bill for hanging out with people who weren't "rich and successful". I think power for herself and being rich and successful is what she truly cares about. That is her true agenda.

As for social change, the problems of the 60s aren't the problems now and at this point I think her side is a huge part of our problems.

This is all about Hillary fulfilling her personal ambition to be Queen of the World...she doesn't give a damn about us except for how to connive us into voting for her.

Thanks for clarification...

If Webb is still around (somewhere) -- must be that ALL the skeletons (& documents) are hidden well... to be retrieved & released ONLY in the event of his demise...

Weak conspiracy (INSURANCE!) theory....

This gibberish got an "A"???

Of course. And it enabled her to practice writing lots of sentences that said little or nothing.

I was told by someone who had that it was not a young radical's love letter to Alinsky, as imagined by Brock, Olson and others

True. (I read it some years ago. It's a yawner.)

Unbelievable. The worst sort of middlebrow tripe. Just a bunch of unrelated facts and anecdotes strung together with sundry assertions tossed in to try to make some kind of profound statement. Utter crap that would get tossed in the circular file by most competent professors grading a student at the senior undergraduate level.
