Mitt Romney criticizes main rivals
Yahoo news ^ | 3/2/7 | GLEN JOHNSON

HAMPSTEAD, N.H. - Mitt Romney suggested last week that he and his fellow Republican presidential contenders would avoid the "rancor" that flared between Democrats after one of Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record)'s fundraisers questioned Hillary Rodham Clinton's honesty.

This week, with polls showing him running third, the former Massachusetts governor took sharper aim at his leading rivals, Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record) of Arizona and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

McCain, Romney told New Hampshire voters on Thursday, was devising an immigration policy that was the "wrong course" for the nation. And Giuliani's positions on abortion, gay marriage and gun control were a losing combination in the GOP primary, he told a television audience replete with Christian conservatives.

If anything, I would compare Giulianni to Bill Clinton.

I don't think so, Clinton was targeted and tactical, "no" Rudy is more like Reagan. Obviously, nobody will be as good as Reagan I mean come on, but someone that can rally the people like Reagan did during the Cold War, Rudy could do that and do it effectively even across party lines and thats what we need, IF we want to win. And when I say win, not just the election thats a given but also the War on Terror.

I think now is when we air our difference. We define our issues this way. What is our agenda going to be?

gay marriage? Gun Control? Pro Choice?

If you want that, vote for Rudy.

7. In 1992, he was troubled by 399 House Bank overdrafts totaling $129,000, and for three days set up a card table in front of the El Cajon courthouse with copies of his checks, ready to explain each one to any voter.

I doubt this post will be deleted, given the source.

Since 1994, Wilkes and ADCS gave $40,700 in campaign contributions to Rep. Duncan Hunter, a San Diego Republican who now chairs the House Armed Services Committee. Hunter has acknowledged that he joined with Cunningham in 1999 to contact Pentagon officials who reversed a decision and gave ADCS one of its first big contracts, for nearly $10 million. Hunter's spokesman, Joe Kasper, said the congressman was unavailable for comment Tuesday.

Duncan Hunter

I posted this earlier tonight. Our Politicians are in the habit of telling the people what they want to hear and then doing what the people who pay them want them to do.

Yes, this is not good for Hunter and neither is this (to be honest)

DH: Boston Globe: Duncan Hunter appears to be violating campaign finance laws

But out of all them politicians, when it comes down to the issues Duncan Hunter is in line with me most all the time.

"Does he even talk about the WOT?"

I don't know! But from what I understand Rudy is the only one that would win the war on terror. How do we know that? Because he attended funerals and supervised the clean up after 9/11, thereby striking fear into the hearts of terrorists everywhere!

Well, then. It looks like Bush has failed in the WOT. You know how scandalous it is that he hasn't attended even one funeral of a fallen soldier! He truly is a cold-hearted SOB who relishes in the death of over THREE THOUSAND in Iraq! He's SATAN, I tell you! /sarc LOL!
