Snicker - how do you remember all these posts?!? I need memory pills.

Here's an update on the Morocco internet cafe bombers:

Morocco: Police Arrest Suspects In Casablanca Attack

Casablanca, 13 March - Moroccan police have carried out a number of arrests in connection with a suicide bomb attack on an internet cafe in Casablanca on Sunday night, local daily Le Matin reported on Tuesday quoting security sources. The report did not mention how many people were allegedly arrested but announced upcoming developments in the investigation. Meanwhile authorities identified the suicide attacker as Abdelfettah Raydi, 23, who had been sentenced to five years in jail on charges of aiding Hasan al-Tawusi, one of the 13 suicide bombers in the May 2003 Casablanca attacks in which 32 people were killed.

Raydi had been released from jail earlier this year following a royal pardon. The only victim was the suicide bomber but three other customers were injured in the explosion at the cyber cafe in the neighbourbood of Sidi Moumin.

Police believe the suicide bomber did not intend to detonate his explosives belt at the cafe but the device went off unexpectedly during the argument while his target was far from Sidi Mumin. Raydi was reportedly at the cafe with an accomplice, Youssef Khoudri, who was arrested a few hours after Sunday's explosion, and the police suspect the two were awaiting orders via the internet on which target they were meant to strike.

Most of the 13 bombers responsible for the 2003 Casablanca bomb attacks, in which 32 people were killed, come from Sidi Moumin. Sunday also marked the third anniversary of the Madrid train station attacks in which 191 people lost their lives. Morocco is on a state of high alert after recent explosions and attacks in neighbouring Algeria.
