Got another call from Appalachian_Dweller this morning. He wanted me to let everyone know that ExSoldier (Jim) is still in the hospital and still undergoing stress tests. Please continue prayers for him. He definitely needs them.

I'll be online later today and posting here. I've been lurking and trying to tone down my necessity to sit at the computer as much. It has helped and when I talk to people like Roy (A_D), it helps me to realize what a second family you guys on TM really are to me. Again, imploring everyone to please keep up the prayers for Jim.

UNC 'Hit-And-Run' Suspect Ordered to Dorothea Dix for Evaluation (Mohammed Taheri-azar)

Hillsborough — A man accused of driving a sport utility vehicle through a crowd of UNC students will be placed at Dorothea Dix Hospital after he made disparaging remarks in court Monday.

During the hearing, Mohammed Taheri-azar yelled that he "hates all Americans" and "hates all Jews." Taheri-azar then looked at Superior Court Judge Ken Titus and asked him what his name was and then asked him to spell it. Taheri-azar then looked at his attorney and said, "I don't know him."

Taheri-azar also called his attorney "a moron" and said "hasta luego," before he was removed from the courtroom.

Titus ordered that Taheri-azar be sent to the hospital to determine whether he is competent to stand trial.
