No doubt you're petitioning the anti-Rudy crowd which you should given he's your man. And, he's a good man.

Rudy inherited a situation that couldn't have been worse. He rightly corrected course and guided NYC down a better path. He went right in many areas a liberal would have gone left. He provided NYC the vaccination it craved which unfortunately only appears to be administered by Republicans. Generally his popularity among those in the Tri-State area is well deserved as is the respect he's garnered that comes from both sides of the political spectrum. He's IS NY City's Mayor. The Nation's 50 States, however, is not a conglomerate of 50 NY Cities.

The Rudy jump squad needs to understand the degree of frustration and disappointment Conservatives have regarding the lack of attention and action given to key concerns Conservatives champion. No amount of hype or hysteria designed to alter the Conservative mindset will have any effect whatsoever. To the contrary, it will only ignite passion that too often goes unexpressed.

If Rudy is interested in the Conservative vote, he'll need to get serious on the major issues we all know about but so many choose to ignore.

New York City is not a national venue. Rudy cannot be mayor of the United States, and will not ne able to accomplish any thng like he did in NYC, because a mayor does not have to have the skill of compromise and leadership on such issues in a city, as does a president nationally. For eample, Rudy thought his New York City Police Commissioner, Kerik, could survive at the federal level as head of Homeland Security, and advanced his cause. Look at what happened. No, Rudy is out of his league at the federal level of politics, and the Police Commish fiasco proves it.
