8 deaths confirmed, even though he will not confirm it.
Can you imagine what the relief workers and rescue people are thinking? This heavily made up male diva on Fox News throwing around fatality numbers like confetti....he really needs to only do stories like ANS and Brittany Spears.
Here is a list of storm reports with confirmed fatalities from the Storm Prediction Center

yes, and local news here wouldn't confirm it until families were notified, rightfully so
LOL he's the drama queen!
Judging from what I'm hearing now the reports were correct, maybe even too minimal.
My heart and prayers go out for everyone involved.
yes, prayers are with all the victims and families
Wow, thanks a million. I've been by that place a thousand times, in the much younger years of my life, and never really knew how it came to be!
My prayers go out to that great little city. It's one of the few places I've lived where I would like to live again! I loved it there. Had a great job at the radio station, WIRB in those days, and our youngest child, our daughter, was born there at Gibson Clinic.
This is so sad....just heartbreaking. The first report I heard was 8 students trapped but alive. I was praying it was true.
Prayers for the good people of Enterprise and the Wiregrass area of SE Alabama. You've got mail.
Two of our sons were born there, one at Lyster Army Hospital on Fort Rucker and the other at Flowers hospital in Enterprise. I spent two tours there besides flight school, from 1973-1977 and 1978-1982. With a tour to Korea sandwiched in between. I have many good memories of the place - met and made many good friends there. It had changed a lot when we went back for a visit a couple of years ago. I suppose the saying is true "you can never go home again".
I forgot in my other post - praying for your Dad give him my best - from one helicopter pilot to another.
I'm 47. If I remember correctly, WIRB had a nice lady with an early morning weekday show in the mid-60's. My grandmother lived in New Brockton and listened to her faithfully.
