McCain announces on Letterman tonight he is running for President, says source that sat through the taping... He was sitting in the chair when he told Dave and the audience. He was wildly applauded.... MORE...
I'd rather have Mr. Ed as president.
He's gonna run alright.
He's gonna take the money and run.
I took a fat tip "Sharpie" and wrote across the form;
Forget it John, I'm a Conservative
...and mailed it back in their postage free return envelop. I urge all to do the same....you can give his campaign a $0.41 hit at no cost to you!!!
...Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. ElkGrove Dan, you may tell the crew for me that there are four ways of doing things aboard my ship: The right way, the wrong way, the Navy way, and my way. They do things my way, and we'll get along.
McCain's campaign is dead on arrival. It's just that simple.
Me too.

Too bad McCain couldn't get free airtime on Saturday Night Live
Obama should've announced on the Dr Phil show
It's too bad that Arizona Senator Jon Kyl, the man who should be our next President, is supporting and helping McCain. I don't understand that at all. Kyl would make a great Commander in Chief. Does he have a skeleton in his closet or something?
So you see McCain still is courting the other side, announcing on the Letterman show. He should have announced on the Rush Limbaugh show. He's toast....
His alter ego.
The media hyped this to give their guy an extra little boost in the midst of rising acclamation for Rudy.
Of the Big Three candidates in the Republican Party, he'll be the first to fall by the wayside. As things stand now, it'll come down to Rudy and Romney.
I loved that episode! "Red Dwarf" is one of, if not THE funniest, shows ever. The only other contenders are "Monk", "Father Ted", "Wings", and the first three seasons of "M*A*S*H".
You won't get a flame from me, I'd vote for Rudy over McInsane in a heartbeat.
When you're insane and Mr. Flibble is your running mate, such issues are trivial...
Oops! Forgot one other contender. At the top of their game, this was as funny as any show ever aired: "Frasier".
Thats funny! He was applauded loudly by a bunch of libs!
Which is a really pathetic summation all around.
