In Darfur Islamics are attacking Christians and animists. It is them who are being enslaved not Islamics.
But I was speaking more of the first decades of Islamic growth and conquest.
Actually, they're attacking black Africans who are Muslims as well. Mohammed was an Arab, and Islam was essentially a bizarre cult that served as a pan-Arabist movement to assert Arab superiority after the collapse of the Roman Empire. Arabs were always nomadic goat-herders and robbers, and not very important in the ME, which had many sophisticated cultures; but one thing that Arabs were was war-like, and Islam gave them the "justification" and unity to enslave the entire rest of the ME. It is still an Arab superiority movement, no matter how many Pakis, American blacks, SE Asians, etc. it may have. Pity they're too dumb to realize this.
In fact, they are enslaving Muslims there, saying that they are "obed" which curiously means black and slave all in one. Such is Islam's 'sacred" ummah!
