"hawthorn has to be a standardized extract with vitexin; it's the vitexin that works."
Where do you buy it? Any vitamin store?
what a bunch of doo doo...written by a medical establishment publication. There are so many real life cases of vitamin supplements helping people usually much more than the pharmacuetical drugs which have so many horrible side effects. Do you know that there is a huge number of people that die from the various prescribed drugs? Their study on supplements causing increased mortality are flawed and are of a small group of people. Did you know that there are doctors treating emphysema with iv hydrogen peroxide therapy with great results ; sometimes allowing the patient to get off of their oxygen machines? That is a fact...and it's a fact also that most medical plans will not cover such therapy even though it is helping people far more than the regular drugs which mostly control the symptoms. Something's whacky here.
Bump for later read
Fact? Or urban legend?
You have some proof, I suppose?
A working link maybe?
Thanks.
I actually know of one pretty famous natural remedies doctor who practices the h202 iv therapy in west Los Angeles. I talked to the head nurse several months ago and she tols me how much it is helping emphysema patients. Unfortunately, h202 cannot be patented and sold for a big profit by the drug companies. Very, sad. I couldn't find his number here but I will do a search and locate it and send it to you along with a website. You certainly need to look into natural healing with an honest open mind.
here's a very good article about h202 therapy written by a once skeptical doctor...http://educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.shtml
No danger of overdosing on Vitamin C, since it is water soluble. Watch the shelf life though. Long term breakdown product is oxalic acid.
