Ramsey Clark, a former U.S. attorney general who represents Ramadan, said the mistreatment of Saddam and his two co-defendants at their executions were barbaric and should be considered reason for U.S. courts to intervene. "They have been taunted, humiliated, tortured and had their heads popped off," Clark said. Clark is a disgrace to the American people, the bar, and, if they had any brains whatever, the dems. Of course he has no concept whatever of the humiliation, torture, and death inflicted on thousands by the evil Saddam and his cohorts. Frankly, having their heads "popped off" sounds like justice to me.

A U.S. judge on Tuesday refused to block the execution of Saddam Hussein's former vice president, saying he had no jurisdiction to step into the case.Smart Judge.

I'm dumbfounded that a US Judge would show such restraint. The senate spent 5 hours talking about stare decisis with John Roberts while seemingly all other Judges routinely throw precedent out on its ear. I'm sure some appeal to this is in the works.

Just how the heck would any attorney think a US court has jurisdiction over this case?

How in hades would a US court have authority to overturn a ruling by a foreign judicial system?

So we should interfere in another nation's judicial system and its verdicts whenever we don't happen to like how it goes. Isn't exactly what the Left so often complains about? Is Ramadan a U.S. citizen at least?
