Just another commie wannabe.

Actually, I don't think he is a wanna be. Just a straight commie. ;)

See my post 67.

He graduated from Yale but failed at Vanderbilt.

How does anyone graduate Cum Laude with C's and a D? He graduated from Yale with honors. Did his daddy go there and/or make a large donation?

Al seems to show up just about everywhere on the planet lately, so he can't be spending much time at home. It must be the the hired help burning all those kws and btus in Nashville.

(When I see the guy on tv, I swear somebody has put a tire valve in his belly button and inflated him to 120 psi)

I live in 23 acres of woods that clean the air. Can I sell my CO2 cleaning to Algore? I am not far from him, so it could be a direct trade.... he can pay me to clean his air!

"Johnny come lately to this !!!???"

A little I'd say, seeing as he wrote his other book "Earth in the Balance" many years ago. You'd think that if you're going to preach energy efficiency for the world, and make a film about climate change and energy savings, you'd make sure your own home was energy efficient before you start your spiel...not wait until your over-use of energy is made public. Are these people morons or what?

Oh, so big people can use lots of energy and little people use a little energy?

He he. But on a serious note, the rules will be very arbitrary in order to make the commie 'green magic' wealth distribution system work.

If I paid some Bedouin nomad to promise not to install a dishwasher, toaster oven, microwave and furnace in his tent I too can say I'm at a zero carbon footprint...but since he couldn't transport those items anyway nothing has actually changed. Gore remains a hypocrite.

Thanks for that.

Maybe we'll see a comparison of Gore's house and W's house on CNN tonight?

I work in a shop with a bunch of analysts....so I asked them...how would burn 20 times the amount of power that a regular guy uses?

In 20 minutes...I was shocked. First...you have a pool which runs a heating system 365 days out of the year. And the idiot who installs it...never bothers to tell you that you could turn it off (in Tennessee) from June to September.

Then you add in a central air unit which is 150 percent the size required for the house. You didn't know better....you just buy it. It runs....365 days out of the year. Even if the outdoor temp is 72 degrees....doesn't matter...you pump air.

Lights....you use the largest voltage possible...both indoor and outdoor. You run security lamps for all evening hours....and require at least 30 such lamps.

You add a walk-in freezer and have four frig units....all bulk size. You have an industrial washer and dryer...even though your maid only fills it half-full each day.

Then you sit all the bills on automatic....never seeing a single bill. You are rich...so you don't even count the dollars. Then they added...if you had 50 Mary-J-u-wanna plants in the basement....with bulbs running 24 hours a day...you could use alot of power...but they didn't want me to give out their names on this topic.

My analyst buddies said that that the rate of consumption in Hollywood....would easy equal what Al uses up. They also thought that most university presidents and big-name MSM types....all had similiar bills...even that hottie Katie Couric. If you asked Katie how many kHw she uses per year...she'd just look at you. Pick out some Piggy Wiggly manager...and he will tell precisely what he consumes each year.

And as for Al's story of switching to Green Power at TVA. Lets be very honest. TVA can only produce 97 million kHw...with a fair wind-power deal, a methane plant, and a small solar cell program. TVA....which you ought to know...MUST produce 152 BILLION kHw per year. So the odds of Al getting his pricy (higher premium) Green Power....really isn't that high. Al probably is getting half of his power at the very most from TVA...and the rest...from the real power grid...just like Grandma and Uncle Bucky from Leoma, Tenn.

So here we stand....with Al looking like an absolute fool. And you have to ask the stupid question...what do the rest of these idiots talking global warming...use for yearly consumption? Pretty much a comedy at this point...with the light burning awful bright.

The spin in that article, alone, generated 2,000 kWh of electricity.

How many Kennedys does it take to change a light bulb?
Three.
One to hold the bulb, and two to drink until the room spins around.

His 3rd or 4th house, or 5th?

This is all Barbara Streisand!

"Did his daddy go there and/or make a large donation?"

He must have. I graduated with honors and if I had Cs or Ds, I never would have made it.

At least have him provide copies of his speeches to fertilize your woods...
