A Taliban suicide bomber killed up to 12 people at the main U.S. military base in Afghanistan on Tuesday in an attack the rebels said was aimed at Dick Cheney, but the visiting U.S. vice president was not hurt.
“We wanted to target … Cheney,” Taliban spokesman Mullah Hayat Khan told Reuters by phone from an undisclosed location.
Targeting an American Leader, the Liberal Left over at The Huffington Post are celebrating the attempt on the life of Cheney and trumpeting their disappointment over the failure of the Islamic Terrorists to kill Cheney.

Geez, I read those posts on Huffer. And they maintain that Cheney and conservatives in general are blood thirsty. What a bunch of hypocrites, wishing for someone's death. "War is bad, except when it might kill our political opponents."
