Your man is losing support due to the nasty nature of his supporters on this forum. No, Rudy supporters are freeping the poll, basically. With people from outside FR. You act like there is no breakout between members and non-members.

Why was the thread you started hijacked and changed to topics totally unrelated to the subject of the article?
I was hoping that it could have been a debate about Rudy's policy of harboring illegals.

By your logic, if someone violated a federal gun law in new york city, then the police should just let them go, because it's a federal law. Why do I find it hard to believe that rudy would let that happen?

Thank you very much. Just one more prediction - I suspect that peace will be almost completely restored at the point of the Democrat National Convention. When people realise what it is that Obama, Hillary, et al, really stand for - and we are exposed to the detail of Hillarycare II, among other horrors - it will dawn as to why it's important to keep the Democrats out of power.
Regards, Ivan

Rudy is very much against ILLEGAL immigration and made it very clear that he would enforce the law as President.
You can play with words all you like and twist things around, but that still doesn't change the fact that most all of us are for LEGAL immigration, which is what our candidate is referring to.
This country was FOUNDED on LEGAL Immigration. Only a shred of fringe fanatics are against ALL Immigration. Are you one of those?

>>>>We're conservatives too. Just not your kind of conservative. Right, you stand with Rudy:
Conservatives DO NOT support big government. Rudy supports big government Republicanism. Conservatives DO NOT support gun control. Rudy supports gun control. Conservatives DO NOT support an assault weapons ban. Rudy supports an assault weapons ban. Conservatives DO NOT support abortion on demand. Rudy supports abortion on demand. Conservatives DO NOT oppose a ban on partial birth abortion. Rudy opposes a ban on partial birth abortion. Conservatives DO NOT support special rights for homos. Rudy supports special rights for homos. Conservatives DO NOT support amnesty for illegals. Rudy supports amnesty for illegals.
Conservatives with a conscience, don't support, promote or consider voting for liberals. Not unless they've sold out their principles and integrity for political expediency. Voting for the lesser of two evils only goes so far.

You know as well as I do, that we can only vote once. As far as "FREEPING" the poll, the thread I saw recently on that was made by someone in your camp. So, if there was any "FREEPING" going on, I can make the same claim.
Even still, that won't change the results.

---"I was hoping that it could have been a debate about Rudy's policy of harboring illegals."---
Good luck. Every time we point out reason #456 or reason #457 why Rudy is a Liberal, we get spam posts telling us he cut taxes. Then when you point out how he thought that Welfare Reform was unconstitutional and how he harbored illegals at taxpayers' expense, they tell you that technically the statistics were better with Welfare and his views on the issue didn't matter because the numbers are better.
They have no answers to the facts we post, so they change the subject. The few times they do answer, you quickly learn that they hold the Liberal position on that issue, just like Rudy.
I posted a list that keeps getting longer.

In response, you get Rudy spam. "He cut taxes!"

New York City's Executive Order 124
Yeah---"executive order"...Maybe rudy isn't as smart as some people think.
Last time I checked the laws of the federal government superceded any crummy laws that a city voted in.

You know as well as I do, that we can only vote once. Once again, it is NON-MEMBERS that have been driving Rudy up and Hunter down.

Seems you can't comprehend either my logic or simple common sense.
If illegals can not go to the police and for medical care without fear, crime and health problems and worse, will run rampant.
To: PSYCHO-FREEP
Those are the facts. Rudy harours NO Illegal Aliens.I love the use of present tense.
As mayor, Rudy HARBORED thousands of illegal immigrants by defying federal law and federal court orders to end NYC's sanctuary city policy. THAT IS AN UNDISPUTED FACT.

Rudy is very much against ILLEGAL immigration and made it very clear that he would enforce the law as President.Rudy wants to make everyone that is currently an illegal immigrant into a legal citizen. That way he doesn't have to deal with the real problem.

My concern here isn't his opposition to the Welfare Reform Act. He wasn't opposed to the act, as much as he was opposed to the provision in the act revoking NYC status as a 'haven of protection' for undocumented workers and illegal aliens that Mayor Koch signed into law there in 1988.
Being a fiscal conservative and foisting the expense of all these aliens on the middle class isn't consistent on any level.
Rudy's got the mo, but he's going to have to explain this.

I saw some really oddball ways that he was twisting the Constitution in the article to make it say whatever he wanted.
That just about throws the "constitutionalists Judges" argument in the toilet!
If that is how he interprets it he would stuff the courts with radical nutballs like R.Buzzy Ginsburg!
