Also a great passage is:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

My mother and her girlfriend claim to be Christian and they occasionally go to the Unitarian Church(a.k.a. The Church of anything goes). However being a Christian is more than just speaking, it is getting your hands dirty and living the lifestyle that is required by God.

My sympathies. Remember though, as vile as that particular sin seems to be regarded in scripture, It takes no more of the Blood of Christ to Save your mother, than it did me, you, or any other true Christian.
Prayer changes things. While God doesn't overcome our will and force acceptance of him, his Holy Spirit has a powerful convicting force. Prayer changes things.
