Funny how taboo the press makes of a man having more than one wife. However it is quite alright for two men two marry or two women. Sheesh!

Joseph Smith Jr. ran for President too.
Didn't get very far.

I know I'm ultra paranoid, but I think these attacks are not aimed at Mitt. I think the purpose is to put religious background on the table. If it's out there and can be talked about, then Obama becomes more vulnerable. Hillary benefits.

So that's it? That's all the dirt they can dig on
Mitt? Sounds like good Presidential material to me.
If the drive by media are against it, them I'm for it.

Polygamy amongst your ancestors = bad
A Lewinsky in the Oval Office = Good!
And what about Senate Mormon Leader Harry Reid's family tree? How many Great Grandma's did Harry have?

Dingy Harry, leader of the Demonrats and a pro-life Mormon, is never exposed to the the polygamy innuendo from the rabid Marxists in the so-called "corporate" media newsrooms.
Gee, I wonder why.

Obama's dad was a bigamist was Romney's?

I wonder if every candidate who is running for POTUS will undergo an exhaustive search of their genealogy.
On another note:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/02/25/sharpton.thurmond.ap/index.html
"The Rev. Al Sharpton is a descendant of a slave owned by relatives of the late Sen. Strom Thurmond -- a discovery the civil rights activist called "shocking" on Sunday."
This genealogy gig is being used in any number of ways, lol.

I have come to believe, based on what I know firsthand about where "news stories" come from, that the Romney campaign is trying to get all this stuff on the table now - long before it could have an impact. In other words, Mitt and his team are "leaking" this to the press now so it won't harm him later.

Since Romney isnt a polygamist himself, and hes disavowed the practice, this information doesnt seem like it would warrant an article...if the press is so interested in political figures with multiple sex partners, you'd think they'd produce better copy by going after the likes of Bill C. and JFK - at least polygamists acted in accordance with the values of their religion and the law as it was written at the time.......

Well then, it's a good thing that Mit Romney's family isn't running for President.
