I agree that his views have flip-flopped to the right, now he's campaigning for the GOP nomination. But if you believe that he simply lied when he said he was anti-second amendmnd, more pro-gay than Ted Kennedy, and pro-abortion, then you're still supporting a liar.
He's either a liar or a liberal or a liberal who has had an epiphany in the last couple of months. Any way you shake it, color me skeptical.
Actually, I think that Romney is really the best candidate....that is why the media is going allout. They seem to sense this also. I have read nothing yet that convinces me that Romney is not conservative. Apparentaly you have bought into the MSM trying to make you think he is. There is information on this forum to dispute any contention that he was a liberal....please read.
There is no flip-flip. His views on abortion at the time were that of most Americans. Abortion is legal but most Americans do support parental notification laws and no taxpayer funding of it. Romney's view came full circle into the the pro-life side during his term as Governor. We're not talking about a John Kerry flip-flop here, and he surely isn't the extreme pro-abortion candidate that Rudy was then and now.
I don't support Romney for other reasons but I do concede that he's the strongest candidate of the three. And he can raise money, he has business and public service background and the guy is literally a Saint. Never smoke, swore, or drank.
