The only thing I hold against Romney is that he's a liberal. Or was, until a few months ago (and may still be) a liberal.

They can tar and feather Romney, McCain, and Guilani for all I care.

The flaming hit pieces on Romney's ancestors contrasts with an obvious question the democrat party Drive-By media never asks:....

"Why do you stay in your utterly sham, bizarre so-called marraige, Mrs. Clinton?"

"Oh, and by the way Mrs. Clinton, are you a lesbian?"

The drive-by media is out to get all Republicans. This week it happens to be Romney who is in their sights.

Rush's argument is unsound.

People didn't hold Ted's father against Ted because Ted's father's views were not his own.

People aren't holding Romney's father or grandfather against Romney, they are just afraid that he will govern according to his religious beliefs, which they disagree with.

Even though I'm not a Mormon, I personally would like Romney more if he governed more like a Mormon!

I dont think the media has to destroy Romney. I think he is doing a pretty good job of it himself, with his daily re-inventions of his policies.

Every perceptive person should have noticed, by now, that the media, most notably the Boston Globe, is after Romney. I believe the Globe had a series of articles about Romney flip-flops. But I don't see the media covering the flip-flops of Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and other Democrats. (Kerry has become so extreme in his anti-war stance that only 12 other Democrats would support his withdrawal resolution last year.)

Romney would be a great candidate, and I wish social conservatives would rally behind him, since he has pledged allegiance to their cause. He has a fighting change to win the 2008 election, while I'm almost certain that someone like Duncan Hunter would be slaughtered.

The libs hate Mormons who are not Dingy Harry... they're just too judgmental.

The 'press' fear a committed person of principle since they do not know how to interact with such an individual. They only cover attendance at church visits, not participate in them. Further, they know that a leader who is not the captive of Secular Humanism is liable to start shooting at their sacred cows like abortion, political correctness, national sovereignty, the New World Order, etc. They are rightly threatened by such rectitude and reformation.
