So, our forces are surrounded by nations that do not want us there and we have found an excuse to widen the conflict as Iraq's neighbors are defending their turf...

The war was not worth fighting from the start. But when you whip up a nation with "patriot Day" and such it seems like the thing to do.

I don't know if I would agree with that. There should have been a Declaration of War, but the Pres told the Iraq Admin several months ago that the American people would not be interested in keeping the US military in Iraq forever, and that Iraq needed to get its act together soon beccause the Amnericans would be gone ready or not.
