Choux ShineSean Hannity Thread Eats 2/26/07
The chef is here. Good eats for everyone.
Choux Box

Pastries

Choux means cabbage in French. The name for the pastry probably derives from chaud (sounds like show) meaning hot. This would make sense because the mixture must be cooked before being piped and baked. Ma petite choux, is also a term of endearment in French.

Hey CC tell me if you agree with this about school uniforms:
"The students can wear nice looking uniforms to school now and get their education and graduate to the uniform of success - a shirt and tie (or dresses for females), or slack off in school destined for an orange jumpsuit uniform marked "D O C" later."

I agree. Nothing wrong with uniforms.

I wrote that bit for an upcoming speech and I'm just soliciting feedback if perhaps it might be too "over the top".

This for private or public schools?
To: ChicagoConservative27
ALL schools. Inner city and suburban. Not really an issue for rural schools IMO. Though it could apply there if needed.

Nice. Do you think that is too over the top for a speech? Sir Hailstone would like to know.
To: ChicagoConservative27; Sir Hailstone
Sir Hailstone wants to know if that is too over the top for a speech. I too am a fan of school uniforms, they subliminally even the playing field. But using them in a punitive manner may violate there so-called right to privacy and may also have a negative psychological effect. The ridicule from their fellow students could be very detrimental.
