Libby (Trial) Update {Juror Dismissed From Case }

Not sure what this means — but we've just gotten an announcement that the parties in the Libby trial have been asked to come to the courtroom at 9:45 this morning. Could be some sort of inquiry, or it could be bigger.

The jury's been out for three days now--hope it's some kind of verdict.

that's the best outcome we can hope for, I don't think acquittal is going to come from that jury. I still don't know how to read that jury stunt with the valentine's day shirts.

Guessing the jury wants to have some of the testimony repeated/replayed. I think both sides need to be in the courtroom for that.

Could be anything. Could be a verdict, or could be some question by the jury.

Fox just said there's some info that perhaps a juror has been exposed to some outside into and "tainted."

That would make it seem to be a mistrial. But, I guess they could replace a juror. I hate that practice....it appears like verdict shopping to this outsider.

or are they making a move to toss the holdouts (for acquittal of course) off? I wouldn't put it past that judge to do that, based on his conduct during the trial.

For those who forget, the goal in this mess was to have President Bush and VP Cheney taken away from the White House in handcuffs and in a process that ignores all laws, Kerry would be installed as President. The left's next choices in this twisted scenario would be Bill Clinton followed by Al Gore.
