You sure do jump to conclusions fast and with little basis. First, you free associate the word order with a Nazi. Then you assume you know about my teaching career, which you don't. I taught in varied situations all across the country and ended working at a black heritage college where 80% entered unable to read. I suppose they had had teachers who talked about being in the trenches and excused themselves from producing results.

First, you free associate the word order with a Nazi. The comment about Goebbels was a reaction to BORs position in the msm. You misunderstood my comment and that's probably my fault. I was thinking that a guy who believes in this fairly radical list of ideas is in a position to create for himself a unique slot in a "New World Order." Whether that new order looks like the face of nazi germany, I can't say. More likely it will look LESS like the fascism of Hitler and more like the imperial godhood of the AntiChrist. But a secular NWO is very likely to rise from the failed ashes of the UN as step #1.

ended working at a black heritage college where 80% entered unable to read. Yeah but it was still a college which presupposes the needed high school graduation....and a semblance of maturity because presumably these students (even illiterate) want to be there. Quite UNLIKE my situation. So tell me, how many "firearm on campus" CODE RED situations have you faced in your career? We had three last year and more the previous year. Last year we also had a pair of students each armed with steak knives actively HUNTING each other through the school. That was fun. How many kids were arrested at your work location for felonies? I had three last year in the county lockup for armed robbery. Two of those were in my AP class. Smart and dumb at the same time. How many teachers (PROFS) were physically assaulted when you were there? We had two last year and more the previous year. In all of my years of teaching I have NEVER had a kid attack me or even come close. That's what we used to call in the military: Command Presence or Command BEARING

Uniformly the kids I taught raised their test scores. Many publicly gave me the credit. The liberals in my school had to grin and suffer. Why do you think a white politically conservative Second Amendment Activist got the Teacher of the Year award? The stats and the kids howling about how I helped them was like beating the administration over the head with the proverbial lead pipe.

But you know that was NOTHING compared to the experience I had several years ago. I had a kid who graduated and he was one I'd have sworn was going to be DOA within a year from a drug overdose or a drive by shooting. I didn't hear from him for quite awhile. Long enough for him to slip from active memory. Then one day he shows up in my classroom and he's a Navy SEAL and he says I'm solely responsible by my example and drive to never give up on him....that inspired him to take this action. I just about collapsed my knees got so weak. You ever had that feeling? If you've never taught in an inner city public high school you don't know crap about the real world of secondary school education. You only think you do as you gaze from your ivory tower far above the fray and the stench....

I've heard that Beck is very good. He's just not in my neck of the woods. Him or G. Gordon Liddy either. Liddy is my kind of crazy too. He's a REAL BTDT & Got the t-shirt guy. How many of these guys (like BOR) would or HAVE gone to prison for their beliefs? Liddy was the only one of the Watergate conspirators to NOT roll over for the Feds and spill his guts.

Does BOR have a fanatical following like Rush? Dittoheads for BOR? This ego has no room for another ego like Limbaugh's. If he's on top in his own mind, why slam the lesser competition as he has done often in regards to Rush?

True he is egotisical, but I think he is successful and just does not have humility. Let's just say he won't have a need financially for the rest of his life most likely.

I taught in the first alternative school in the country in Washington, DC. I am glad for your contribution, especially command presence. However, your take on Social Studies is still appalling, unfounded, and irresponsible. The last thing your students need is urban legends about the New World Order and a teacher who calls traditional ideas of BOR radical and anti Christ.

When I entered my first Social Studies classroom in 1966 I was prepared with 100 hours of history, poly sci, and psych. 10th graders challenged the gaps in my knowledge every day. In the 80's we graduated teachers with 24 hours of content preparation. The difference is palpable. The lack of perspective is alarming, but I knew about it already. I used to work for National History Day which says 80% of those now teaching history have neither a major or a minor in the field they are teaching. Was watching the national governor's conference on science and math teaching and they were attacking the same problem. Teachers are not well prepared in their fields.

Before teachers unions, every teacher knew classroom management and cooperated to create a school-wide atmosphere of discipline. I am not military and don't have a big voice, but I had a teacherly bearing and a look that could kill.

Of course, allowing that to lapse is not really liberal. It is corrupt.

Bill is OK, not my favorite that's for sure. I will listen to his radio program when I'm at the lake cabin but I'm not a huge fan. He doesn't have the guts to take a real stand on some issues, and I can't admire that. He's about 60% in my corner but I really need more than that.

Although I would really like to see him kick Al Frankin's a$$.

Wow! You sure have suffered a lot. I had no idea Crohn's Disease could be so serious. I really do get what you mean about your husband not wanting to live. I can't imagine having to bury a child. I applaud your strength.

What I love about Beck is that he acknowledges he is nuts! Savage actually thinks he's sane.

However, your take on Social Studies is still appalling, unfounded, and irresponsible. The last thing your students need is urban legends about the New World Order and a teacher who calls traditional ideas of BOR radical and anti Christ.

BOR's ideas are NOWHERE near traditional! I am forbidden from mentioning Christ in class at the risk of my job. Our world history text devotes FOUR full chapters to Islam and a teeny portion of a single chapter to Christianity. But when kids ask my personal opinion on a subject, by contract, I'm allowed to give it to them as long as I specifically label it as such, which of course I always do.

I spend my time identifying the differences between subjects, ISSUES and AGENDAS. Everything is a potential subject for discussion (especially in Sociology) when you discuss ALL sides of a subject you have created an ISSUE. Discussing only ONE side of a subject creates an AGENDA which is given to students in the hope that they will act in a certain manner at some future date usually reflecting the liberal political BIAS of either the school system or the individual teacher. Ask any of my kids today and they'll spot any agenda you care to run. I'm careful to make them ask me continually about my statements to see if I'm subconsciously running an agenda. I make them challenge me on all points. Especially in Government class.

Know how I get them to spot the start of an agenda at work in their lives? I always ask my classes at the start of a new school year the following questions:

Okay, by a show of hands, has anybody in here...during the entire TWELVE years of your public school experience ever had any teacher or administrator say anything POSITIVE about the subject of GUNS or GUN OWNERSHIP? Nothing. Ever.

Okay, NOW...by another show of hands, has anybody in here...during the entire TWELVE years of your public school experience ever had any teacher or administrator say anything NEGATIVE about the subject of the United Nations? Nothing. Ever.

Then I tell them: Ladies and gentlemen, those are prime examples of somebody's AGENDA. There are upsides and downsides to all issues! Multiple shades of gray. Many sides. Ask yourself when you only hear one side of a subject, who is trying to manipulate you and what might they GAIN in that manipulation? We always had spirited discussions in my classes. Oddly enough, although you seem to find my approach to social studies appalling, my classes are the first to fill each year and my classes are the ones parents most often try to have their children moved into from the class to which they were originally assigned.

I taught in the first alternative school in the country in Washington, DC.

Well obviously THAT turned out well. DC is still the most screwed up school district in the nation.

Unfounded? Irresponsible?

Only liberals take the attitude you've taken. So Professor. IMO...You ARE the New World Order in action. I for one am very glad you've retired. How many agendas did YOU push during your time in the system? How many young minds went numb on the liberal half truths and distortions you dished out? YOUR type is the sort I've fought my entire life. BOR's too.
