...in a rare official contact with visitors from Tehran's arch enemy. These people are friends of Tehran and any other government that is the enemy of the US. For that reason they are probably the best friends Ahmadinejad has right now.

"The Iranian nation does not have any feeling of hatred and opposition towards the American people and we believe that all people are respectful and given the common grounds people have, they could achieve peace and justice," Ahmadinejad said according to official media. Fine, allow Christian missionaries to open churches in Iran, then.

various Christian orders who are in Iran for a week-long visit to promote peace and dialogue between the foes Aminadnutjob's a guy who likes to tell everybody to either convert or die. I wonder if anybody bothered to present the Gospel to him at this little kissie-fest?
Or would that be too confrontational, not promoting "peace and dialogue"?

Dhimmi Christians who come to seek guidance on how to further their anti-American activism. Words fail me.

"The US government has initiated and is continuing animosity against Iran...."
In one sentence he says he does not have any feeling of hatred towards the American people, than in the next sentence he targets the U.S. Government, which the American people voted for and are represented by. Someone should tell him how representative government works.
His double-speak is lousy.
