...in a rare official contact with visitors from Tehran's arch enemy. These people are friends of Tehran and any other government that is the enemy of the US. For that reason they are probably the best friends Ahmadinejad has right now.

Sen Biden said Ahmadinejad was for an Iranian clean, articulate, good looking and didnt smell too bad.
To: stan_sipple
"The Iranian nation does not have any feeling of hatred and opposition towards the American people and we believe that all people are respectful and given the common grounds people have, they could achieve peace and justice," Ahmadinejad said according to official media. Fine, allow Christian missionaries to open churches in Iran, then.

various Christian orders who are in Iran for a week-long visit to promote peace and dialogue between the foes Aminadnutjob's a guy who likes to tell everybody to either convert or die. I wonder if anybody bothered to present the Gospel to him at this little kissie-fest?
Or would that be too confrontational, not promoting "peace and dialogue"?

No Independent Fundamental Baptist would have wasted time listening to a lost person bent on the destruction of Israel.

"When several members of the delegation met with members of Congress in October 2006 after the New York meeting with Ahmadinejad in September, they were encouraged to continue their efforts and visit Iran if possible. After the upcoming visit, the group will again meet with members of the U.S. Congress to tell them about what they heard leaders in Iran saying and about ways to move toward lessening current tensions."http://www.episcopalchurch.org/3577_82397_ENG_HTM.htm Peace groups acting as stalking horses for cut and run Rats in congress.

Dhimmi Christians who come to seek guidance on how to further their anti-American activism. Words fail me.

"The Iranian nation does not have any feeling of hatred and opposition towards the American people and we believe that all people are respectful and given the common grounds people have, they could achieve peace and justice," Ahmadinejad said according to official media." "The US government has initiated and is continuing animosity against Iran...."
In one sentence he says he does not have any feeling of hatred towards the American people, than in the next sentence he targets the U.S. Government, which the American people voted for and are represented by. Someone should tell him how representative government works.
His double-speak is lousy.
