Yes, they showed a clip of it also. I also dont watch BW normally (what tree are you Walters) but wanted to see the star interviews. I loved calendar girls & the other two movies that I thought were comparable... raising Ed Levine(cent recall the exact title) & the Full Monty.. clever & fun.

I appreciate all your great comments.

I am starting a cinema monthly thread in March.. YOu will definitely be on that initial ping list. The concept etc is still evolving. I had hoped to do this for over a year.. March is my target date.

Heh, you mean Waking Ned Devine, truly one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The music is terrific, too! I think it is one of Ian Bannen's last movies.

That man was a terrific actor. We first saw him in a Masterpiece Theater series, "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy", back in 1979. He starred with two other awesome, though also, sadly, departed actors, Sir Alec Guiness, and Ian Richardson.

If you liked Ned Devine, you'd probably also like The Secret of Roan Inish. Another beautiful film, both in cinematography and music.
