Really? My wife and 17 year old son watched it with me, and we thought it was one of the best movies of this past year. It was a little strange, no doubt..... some parts, I thought were "over the top"... but, in the end, the message was: "No matter how strange you are, or messed up... the love of FAMILY trumps all". And, a sub-message was, "Youth believes in all possibilities". Both are OK messages as far as I'm concerned.

Well, you certainly aren't ALONE liking that movie cuz it's up for the Acadamy Award..Uh..and so was Brokeback Mountain. I don't think the cute little girl was good enough to be nominated.
