If you see any Rudy people bashing Hunter - tell me and I'll tell them to stop it.

Control freak. The only problem I have had on Hunter threads is spreading unsubstantiated and unlinked allegations. Otherwise, bring it on.

We don't lower ourselves to your level.

You lowered yourself way past our level on this thread. You stopped at the basement only because the elevator didn't go down any further.

candidate for governor (George Pataki), he stabbed his fellow Republicans in the back and chose to support and endorse MARIO CUOMO.
Oh REally??? And Rudy Giuliani Supported Pataki for his Last Two Terms!

That was easy to do once Pataki was elected. Took no guts at all, the courageous thing would have been to support Pataki prior to the election, which was something Rudy couldn't bring himself to do.

He also saw something in Pataki that we didn't see. Pataki was an ASS of A Republican!

Soooo if Pataki was an 'ASS' as you say it, what does that say about your boy Rudy that he "Supported Pataki for his Last Two Terms!"
?

[crickets chirping]

Back to you, RudyBot #A51.

Rudy never dodges questions -- he meets them head on as witnessed on the Hugh Hewitt interview. That's the difference with Rudy -- he doesn't pander and what you see is what you get flaws and all.

Would much rather have a candidate I know where he stands then one that panders and flip flops to suit their new agenda.

You guys have no loyalty to the party.

And now you have completed your two-faced posting on this thread. You first rationalized away Rudy not supporting Pataki in 1994 - and now you have the GALL to say WE HAVE NO LOYALTY TO THE PARTY?

Yes, I've stopped supporting Rudy about a week ago.

I know it's awfully premature, but have you come to any conclusions of what you'll do if Rudy should happen to carry the primary?

Support a winner, support Giuliani!

Hey if you want to vote for a liberal Democrat, that's your choice.

Nah. I see no reason for thread nannies. We have mods if someone goes over the top. Thanks for the offer.

Now, about the Freepathon. Could you please go ahead and order that all your troops are contributing to the support of this board?

Thanks

I'm not surprised at your inability to respond. Guess you came face to face with your own 'inconvenient truth' eh?

Grow up Dirtboy you say that stupid stuff on every thread. Get a new line.

You lie yet again. That's the first time I've compared a Rudy booster to Soviet propagandists retouching photos.

And you never answered my question. Will you support Rudy if he wins the nomination? Actually EEE and Narses were kind enough to answer. They said no. They won't support the Republican nominee if it is Rudy.

Actually, you avoided my question. How is my position, which hasn't changed a bit, worse than Giuliani's support for Democrats? Why do you so vehemanently accuse me of disloyalty while sparing Giuliani your wrath?

By the way, your party uber alles position is not a defensible one in a conservative forum. Just so you know.

So you've joined the 15% fringe among the National Republican Party. Your choice.

However, if you do succeed and get Hunter nominated, don't act surprised when the Democrats sweep the election in '08.
Republicans like Gingrich, Hunter and any other so-called hard Right candidate have no chance to win. The American public, the Independent and swing voters have all been programmed to vote Anti-Conservative. Not Pro-Conservative like you think.

I will wager that the more "conservative" the candidate is, the more lopsided the Democrat victory will be.

In this critical moment of our history, we cannot afford to have the Democrats in charge of which direction they will force this country to go. And, all the anger and hatred many here show for Giuliani at the moment, will pale in comparison to the mess this country will be in if we lose.

Rudy never dodges questions

Bullcrap - and EEE documented his dodge on past views on abortion and the 2nd Amendment. Y'all sound just like Hillary's talking point clones.

... The Soviet comparison is quite apt -

If you can call him a soviet commie he can call you a nazi. Quid pro quo.

Did I call anyone a commie? I compared the propaganda methods.

Because let me tell you - you have brainwashed another one to become a hater.

I haven't been brainwashed. What attracted me to Rudy was his willingness to take on NYC liberal institutions, which told me that he would have spoken out on the need to reform/eliminate the entitlement programs and other massive federal bureaucracies. I was willing to overlook his social liberal past until I began reading (thanks to Spiff) about his cronism and favors he dished out to pals.

His social liberalism became too much and he spent his time making pathetic excuses for them rather than (Funny, I thought Rudy was a leader) and admitting he was wrong and that most Americans generally support pro-life measures and the 2nd Amendment. I started to see Rudy as a Bill O'Reilly type, someone who enjoys power and would have exploited federal power to suit his agenda and who would have used it to silence anyone who spoke out about it.

Rudy is just another one in the long line of traditional New England, Rockefeller, big government Republicans that controlled the GOP from the end of President Hoover to Reagan's election.
