Here is another example as to why Senators should not be elected President

Hillary is in no trouble unless the unions start to bolt on her.
Only that type of crowd would view this week as a good one for Hillary.
What a cheap shot to take against prostitutes.
That story was a ton of laughs this week.
I heard the death toll comparison on Rush's show this week. The one thing that I want to check before I start using this data point in an argument is how many deaths have happened between 2003 and this month outside of Iraq and Afghanistan (not counting folks injured there who die outside of those combat zones and they are already covered in the 3,133)?
I have a feeling that it isn't substantial as there is a significant percentage of our troops in the combat zones, but it is something I need to check out.
No kidding. The BO dude was in Austin the other day, and first reports were that there were 25,000 people at the rally. By the 6 PM radio news, that number had dropped to 20,000. The next day, the number reported had dropped to 15,000.
I doubt there were many over 10,000 at the rally. I think there were more people protesting the proposed Super Walmart at the old North Cross mall, than his rally. They had an entire 12 Square block area surrounded with people, and some places were 5 and 6 deep.
I missed that on Rush's show.
Romney's Mormonism comes up, of course.
Kearns-Goodwin naturally goes back to Kennedy. Says Romney needs to deal with it head on...like Kennedy.
It's strange to me to think back to that time. We had neighbors who thought we were stockpiling weapons in our basement for a takeover of the US>
I see her situation differently. She came out campaigning well in advance of her plans. If she weren't such a control freak, she should have waited until maybe Sept to announce. Now she's going to spend money that she's not prepared to spend and she looks weak when facing other challengers (who were not ordained by their spouse's political clout).
Instead of letting the others fight it all out and declaring someone else as a front runner (thereby taking the focus away from her), letting the surge play itself out, she now risks her whole campaign because she fears the idea that Democrats are free to choose someone else. This is not the mind of a mature individual.
Obama may be an empty suit, but he's a smarter empty suit than she is. He now links Hillary to her spouse, which undermines her credibility. She becomes a lesser image and her modus operandus looks ineffective and outdated. More to the point, Geffen's remarks are sticking and Obama looks normal.
Geffen will feel the consequences from the Clinton Machine for daring to dissent. Being in the position he is, I don't think that he will roll over and that's going to be a big liability for Clinton as well.
Timmy seems willing to yuk it up over Republican candidates, but not Dems.
He very carefully trod around the Hillary thing, but Dowdy doesn't like her and through some sharp punches.
Dowd says W has merged church and state (was a delusional wierdo she is).
Thanks. I heard Rush talking about that, but did not get the source.
The DC market gets CBS Sunday Morning at 0900. A piece on Olberman is coming up now.
:-) Yes it was.
Merged church and state? I'm not really paying attention but that line perked my ears up. What world do these people live in?
Dennis Miller was saying on O'Reilly that Geffen's judgement will hurt Mrs.Clinton than the other way.
I cannot bear to watch one minute of tv news and that includes the breathless bimbos of Fox. Satellite radio, Deep Tracks, works for me. Plus I just discovered country music in my old age and am surprised at how incredible it is.
