French police say a body found in a river in northern France is that of a missing Israeli defence ministry official.
DNA tests proved the dead man found in the River Seine near Rouen on Wednesday was David Dahan, head of the Israeli Defence Ministry Mission to Europe.
Mr Dahan disappeared from his Paris home on January 22.
Police say they are treating the incident as a possible suicide and Mr Dahan had suffered depression in the past.
His wife and child live in Israel.
Israeli defence officials were not immediately available for a comment.
The Israeli Defence Ministry Mission buys military equipment in Europe.
The mission used to be based in central Paris but was hit by a car bomb in 1982 and is now situated in a suburb.

This Israeli guy was in a dangerous line of work. "Depression" indeed. Probably there is a depression on his skull where they knocked him out before throwing him into the river. It might be linked with the current campaign against Iran ...

The article is from Reuters, and Reuters can be trusted as much as Hillary. Death by suicide seems like a very far fetched solution considering Dahan's job occupation and the country he was working in.
I presume this is a suicide like all the Friends-of-Bill suicides, e.g., gunshot wounds to the head with no powder burns. Easy to explain stuff like that.
Another Israeli charity worker was killed a few months ago, possibly in eastern Russia. I have forgotten the exact city, but it is suspiciously like the PLO killing of the Jewish Joint Distribution Committee official Charles Gordon? in Czechoslovakia in the 1970's or early 1980's. This was in conjunction with the KGB/Czech secret police, the STB.
I wouldn't be surprised that Islamofascists are now working to pick off Israeli and Jewish diplomatic, military and charitable officials as a way of forcing them to stop their work.
Suspected Black Muslims here in DC killed Israeli military attache Allon in the early 1980's, in Silver Spring. The triggerman in the killing of Iranian exile leader Ali Tabatabi in the Silver Spring area was a Black Muslim who is now a movie star in Iran.
Watch for future killings to see if there is a pattern of assassinations designed to look like suicides or robberies.
Is there a high bridge over this river Seine? Generally jumpers off the Golden Gate Bridge succeed in killing themselves. At a certain velocity hitting the water surface is almost like hitting cement.
A Jewish man, found dead in a river, in France, doesn't bring suicide immediately to mind, especially an Israeli Defense minister.

But the bridges are not high in France, they are old traditional bridges, also, this guy went into the river not in Paris, but near Rouen. It would be like jumping off a garden gate into a low river.
His car was found, locked and empty, nearby. They say now he may have left a note. But there are many grounds to be suspicious, and in the past, several suspicious suicides in France were later found to be unnatural deaths.
But if he wanted to jump in the river and drown himself, he could have done that in Paris. Drowning is a very untypical way of committing suicide for a man who has done military service (because it is difficult, and so much easier to shoot yourself.) It is a favorite method of covering up a murder, because the body is usually very decomposed when found.
Initial assessments indicated that Dahan may have committed suicide following a personal crisis. His family has been notified. Jerusalem Post

So the car was found, but not the body.
Police sources had previously said a letter left by Dahan at home suggested he was depressed and may have committed suicide.
