I thought I'd report on an amusing article that began: "All in favor of some global warming, raise your frostbitten hands." Peter Bronson, of the Cincinnati Enquirer states that after taking his poll, the "ayes" have it, "In fact, it's the biggest landslide since Saddam was elected president of Iraq by 138 percent".
It should not be surprising that many Americans are convinced that Producer Al Gore deserves to win an academy award for a non-fictional documentary, given the undue pressure of global warmests who are trying to silence nay-saying scientists. Take Timothy Ball for example. If anyone has heard of him, which is unlikely, it is because he is being maligned for opposing the conclusions of the UN's report on carbon based global warming.
Bronson's humorous disdain for the doomsayer is evident, saying that if the warming trend of 1 degree every 100 year continues, in only 7,000 years we might find a "Fried Chicken Little". The upside, however, is that Cincinnati will be the "Redneck Riviera on the Ohio River", according to Bronson.
As most of you realize, the UN report to which media propagandists have given so much attention was not produced by scientists, but rather, was a "summary" released by a few bureaucrats, who Bronson says is like comparing scientists to bureaucrats, and the "IRS to an Easy Button".
How anyone can accept a report produced by the same people who produced the "oil for food" scandal is beyond Bronson's comprehension, and should be beyond the comprehension of anyone with an IQ higher then the temperature of the frozen tundra of the Antarctica.
Thats a good analogy. --How CAN anyone who saw what the UN did with Oil for food believe the UN statement on Global Warming especially since it was written by people with something to gain.
Technically, there is no tundra in Antarctica. There's just too much ice and it's too cold.
tun·dra [túndr?] noun Arctic plain: the level or nearly level treeless plain between the ice cap and the timber line of North America and Eurasia that has permanently frozen subsoil.
Thanks for correcting me. tundra is indeed only found in the Arctic.
