I remember her very first campaign. She claimed to be a lifelong Republican that changed over to Democrat because of the gun control issue (she lost a loved on in the shooting incident on the long island railroad). She claimed that she still supported everything the Republicans did and said on other issues and the only reason she changed over to the Dems was because of the gun control issue.
A couple weeks later I watched her denounce Republicans on Medicare and Social Security. Claiming that Republicans wanted to throw old people out into the streets. She had dusted off an old DNC propaganda handbook and was reciting it word for word. These days the liberal ADA gives her a 90 liberal rating.

I continue, Carolyn Mcarthy, dim dem, village idiot, and mother superior, could have stood for reality right and truth, but instead gave in to political power and public deception.
She dishonors the deaths and memory of her son and Husband by continuing to push for laws which will insure that someone else will be guaranteed to enjoy the same loss and widowhood from which she has gained so much personal power and profit.
Oh to be married to someone of such class and familial loyalty. I think I'd be tempted to save the deranged shooter the trouble.

Isn't it amazing that condoms get more good press for personal protection than than the two things that have a better guarantee of positive results.
It follows, therefore, according to the Democrats' strange logic, that any McCarthy gun control legislation has the imprimatur of moral authority behind it, and anyone critical of it is a neanderthal barbarian who supports violent criminals. That's just the way they think.
