Austin, Texas, - Ralph G. Diaz, Special Agent in Charge of the San Antonio Division of the FBI, announced today the arrest of 42 year old Douglas Michael Stum of Austin, TX, for Possession of Child Pornography.
On February 22, 2007, at approximately 9:20 a.m., FBI agents arrested Stum without incident at his place of employment, identified as the law firm of Diamond, McCarthy, Taylor, Findley and Lee, located at 6504 Bridgepoint Parkway, Austin, Texas. The arrest was based upon a federal grand jury indictment returned on February 21, 2007, and unsealed today charging Stum with Possession of Materials Involving the Sexual Exploitation of Minors, and Possession of an Obscene Visual Representation of the Sexual Abuse of a Child. On June 6, 2006, FBI agents executed a search warrant of Stums residence and computers. A forensic analysis of Stums computers revealed they contained thousands of images of child pornography, to include still images and videos of infant children.
If convicted of the aforementioned charges, Stum could be sentenced up to 10 years in federal prison.
Why not?

It has been quite a week for pedophiles. FBI analyst for at least 17 years, Anthony John Lesko, 44, entered the Alford plea for sex with a young girl starting when she was 9. University of Pennsylvania professor Lawrence Scott Ward pleaded guilty to producing child porn. Then former ACLU official Charles Tierney caught with violent child porn. Now this pervert Douglas Stum. I am just glad he doesn't live in Ohio where he might get less than a slap on the wrist.
