I understand your point.....I respect your thoughts.

But many at FR, myself included...believe Duncan Hunter is the man who would strengthen this great nation and keep it from the weakness you fear.

And surely you are reading what Jim Robinson thinks about RG.

I am very surprised that some on this forum, by their tone/words....seem to care little about his preferences....and seem to forget he is a man of character and insight.

I am surprised at the disrespect some show to him.

His patience with some is amazing to me.

To me, as well, which shows Jim Robinson is well qualified to head and manage a conservative forum. This is what liberty is about. The restraint is admirable.

On another note, why do other nations assume that they can lean on us, rather than strengthening their own countries, both politically and culturally?

I would counter that by saying that I am not going to be disloyal to my own thoughts and opinions by agreeing to something I don't agree with. I have not (intentionally) expressed my thoughts to Jim in a rude or disrespectful manner. If he wants to ban me, that is his perogative.

However, I am of the opinion that richness of Free Republic is in at least in part, due to the people who participate and love it. If there is a decision that the people who support Giuliani are to be excluded, then it will be all the poorer for them having been exiled.

Regards, Ivan
