we are upholding a distinguished tradition that began in our city starting with the work of Margaret Sanger
Of wow!! did Rudy actually say that!?
HOW CAN ANYONE Justify that?
These are a few quotes from Sanger:
"The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." Margaret Sanger, Women and the New Race (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)
Margaret Sanger (1883-1966) On blacks, immigrants and indigents: "...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people
On sterilization & racial purification: Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial "purification," couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.
On the purpose of birth control: The purpose in promoting birth control was "to create a race of thoroughbreds," she wrote in the Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921 (p. 2)br>
On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities: "More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control." Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12
On the extermination of blacks: "We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon
On adultery: A woman's physical satisfaction was more important than any marriage vow, Sanger believed. Birth Control in America, p. 11
On marital sex: "The marriage bed is the most degenerating influence in the social order," Sanger said. (p. 23) [Quite the opposite of God's view on the matter: "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4)

When I said 'some' I was not including you!
You have no idea how rude 'some' of them are.
Difference of opinion is one thing....
..rudeness/disrespect to the administrator is quite another.
And yes, I have read the rude replies directed at your country, and understand why you would be upset....I agree!
OTOH, I live in Florida, and lots of folks think Florida is open season for directing their rude comments.
I too get embarrassed by hanging chads and crying, theatrical judges!....but that's just a tiny percentage/representation of our fine state!.....minuscule really :^

Like I have told you a buncha times, you do more harm for your causes than you do good. I contend you do it on purpose. Hey troll. I have no interest in making friends with people who think Margaret Sanger is respectable. How about you? Or don't you care about the 4000 babes in the womb who died today either?

No, I think you with your record of hypocrisy and hysteria are inconsequential and boring EV. It's been that way for years.
And I won't be badgered by the likes of you.
If it fulfills some deep repressed emotional need (of which I am sure you have many) you may have the last word.
You're hopeless, you have no candidate and your mother dresses you funny.
(and yeah, I've seen pictures)
Good. Night.

Thanks for that :-)
What a dispicable, vile woman!
On a lighter note this little bit "The marriage bed is the most degenerating influence in the social order," WOW. obviously she never figure out where a womans power really lies LOL

I was just shocked to hear anyone refer to abortion or sangers work/beleifs as a "distinguished tradition". Its wrong on so many levels.
It was Rudy, the hero of "these", (calling themselves conservative) on FR that said that.
Watch, it won't back them off one bit.
To: Corin Stormhands
OK then. I knew you had no defense for your support of this extremist pro-abort named Giuliani.

It's a long standing rule.
In the rare instances when I forget it someone is sure to point it out. It's just courteous as well.

doing so, we are upholding a distinguished tradition that began in our city starting with the work of Margaret SangerJust damn. Rudy will need to specifically denounce that one. And even then it would do little good.

I've got ten bucks that says you can't show me where that rule is posted. It is basic forum etiquitte to ping someone you are mentioning unless the mention happens to be rather generic and that in no way casts a negative judgement on the poster in question (such as referincing something JimRob posted a couple of days ago).

Some here are waiting for you to answer #900
To: EternalVigilance
... Or don't you care about the 4000 babes in the womb who died today either? You sanctimoniously blame others, but the way you alienate people from the cause leaves you more to blame. Blood is on your hands, pretender.

A lot of Freepers don't understand that standing on principle over reality sometimes can cost this Nation dearlyLike all Han Solo Republicans ("It's not my fault!"), you blame the voters instead of the GOP leadership that refused to listen to the voters. And now you are hell-bent on ramming someone from the far left of the GOP down the throats of the base. Of course, when they are less-than-enthused, it will be their fault. Never the fault of the likes of you.
