I disagree with Rudy on the availability of guns. Gun control doesn't work for one thing.

On the other hand, until the Supreme Court extends the Second Amendment to the the states, they and local entities are free to make whatever bonehead decisions they want with regard to guns.

My dream candidate isn't running in 2008. He may not even exist. I'm going to have to make my selection from some flawed candidates, although I'm used to that by now.

Would Rudy be a good President? I don't know. Any of the Democrats would be horrible, I do know that. But I'm a long ways from making up my mind whom I will support. It's going to be someone I have disagreements with, that I already know.

Feel free to quote me where I ever in my entire life called myself "pro-choice."

The day you threw your political backing behind a man who thinks Margaret Sanger is "respectable"?

Im not offended, but you must admit seeing a whole slew of names like that DOES look like a calling of the troops.

Wouldve been much simpler to just tell me you were a HE. you never can tell ya know. ive been called dude more times than I can count.

The religious forum is where I got my start in posting. back in the days of rnmomof7 etc. Im a Catholic so not big on your radar, but we were on some threads together:-)

If you support a candidate who supports abortion, YOU support abortion.

So far there isn't a person alive that agrees with me 100%. I just want someone more conservative, than more liberal.

rnmomof7 has gone to a "better place" (another forum)

Those were some ugly days. Things are much better over there now, but I don't spend much time there.

Do you care about the 4000 children who were killed today in America by Giuliani's bosom buddies at NARAL and Planned Barrenhood?

Opening Remarks to the N.A.R.A.L. "Champions of Choice" Lunch

The Yale Club, Thursday, April 5th, 2001

Thank you very much for inviting me to say a few words of welcome. This event shows that people of different political parties and different political thinking can unite in support of choice. In doing so, we are upholding a distinguished tradition that began in our city starting with the work of Margaret Sanger and the movement for reproductive freedom that began in the early decades of the 20th century.

As a Republican who supports a woman's right to choose, it is particularly an honor to be here. And I would like to explain, just for one moment, why I believe being in favor of choice is consistent with the philosophy of the Republican Party. In fact, it might be more consistent with the philosophy of the Republican Party. Because the Republican Party stands for the idea that you have to restore more freedom of choice...

You'd look a lot less silly if you'd read the actual quote before you post.

Did you mean this quote?

COLMES: Now, Roe vs. Wade -- You are pro-choice. How important is it to you as a pro-choice Republican to have a pro-choice on the court as someone...

GIULIANI: That is not the critical factor. And what's important to me is to have a very intelligent, very honest, very good lawyer on the court. And he (Roberts) fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category.

Your boy sees no difference between Roberts, who was touted as being a contructionist, and Ginsburg, a left wing ACLU zealot.

Next time, listen to your candidates own words and you won't look so silly supporting him.
