I'm with Mad Ivan, you're chicken attitude is counter-productive. Newbie's have no credibility with self righteousness.

I'm looking at these pictures and trying to intuit if I'm looking at a President. Duncan Hunter certainly looks and sounds more presidential than a bald-headed man with a speech impediment and a nervous tic (when RINO-rudy speaks, his eyes widen regularly and apparently, uncontrollably).
Of course, RINO-rudy's MAJOR MALFUNCTION is that he's a flaming LIBERAL in the vast majority of his positions.

Duncan Hunter is the former and very effective Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and I am proud to be the Honorary Chair of the Congressman Duncan Hunter for President Committee. Chuck YeagerWOH!!!!! This ALONE would be enough to get my vote.

Besides, it is far too early for this hoopla...the PEOPLE will be burned out by Labor Day '07.
Very likely...in fact, being a front-runner now may come a cropper down the road a bit. It's happened before. It seems to me that Hunter's candidacy has at least managed to inject some life into 2008 candidate threads that might otherwise have been lacking in Conservative vigor.

It makes sense to me. I think a lot of Rudy voters are still undecided which is good IMO. I've seen the others and am not impressed but as I said, I'm supporting DH in the primaries. If some says maybe, or I'll think about it that's great. The door isn't closed.
As for Hair...how would I know if she needs defending or not? I've never met her, never heard her speak. Do you kiss babies, Hair? Are you meek and mild or do have fire in your gut? All I can go by is what I read on the internet:')

"Well, I voted Rudy...". "...It's not because I don't like Hunter, it's because I don't know him at all." Tell me, CindyDawg, what kind of sense does that make? It makes perfect sense to me... I don't know him, can't vouch for him. He's got about 20 months to start getting himself known. Right now he's an unknown.
And thanks, CD :~)
To: SoCalPol
Hawking has AlS you can't equate this with others I dunno...I sure liked that bald head and nervous tic on 9/12!!!
It's interesting...none of the Rudy folks are trashing Hunter, other than to say he has no record and no executive experience. He hasn't run a state or a large municipality.
ALL of the Hunter people are nasty.

You've never heard of Duncan Hunter? Try visiting FreeRepublic more often. There have been 100's of threads about him and his beliefs. Where ya' been?
To be here more often, I'd need a longer day. I've just been on other threads, I guess. :~)
To: Kirkwood
Sorry, too many intagibles about Rudy are adding up. I'd hold my nose and vote for him in the general though if he's nominated.
To: paulat
Stephen Hawking?
Isn't he the guy in the Cialis commercials?
or is it Levitra?
Of course I know who is is - goofball.
I also know who RINO-rudy is (go back and read what I say RINO-rudy's MAJOR MALFUNCTION is. It's ALL ABOUT CONTEXT my "friend").
And THAT is why this NO SH*T Conservative, and MANY of my fellow NSC's, will NEVER vote for this liberal, gun-grabbing, abortion-supporting, northeastern inner-city lawyer/bureaucrat.

You know why I volunteered to help DH? Someone told me I was waiting for the party to deliver me a candidate that I liked and that I should do my own searching and then help him/her get elected in the primary. It made me mad. Really mad. Then I started thinking about it....A few days later I picked up the phone.

This is the level of discourse from the Hunter crowd....
